As a DevOps Engineer, I currently monitor, configure, and deploy trading systems across the EMEA to ensure maximum uptime. This requires me to ensure that all servers are connected, that all software deployments and server configuration has been completed without any issues, and that all systems are monitored to ensure that all applications run correctly. I also monitor trading performance using various tools such as Python, manage risk, highlight recurring issues, and introduce solutions. Within my second capacity as a trader, I oversee algorithmic-based trading systems in real time, ensure that trading is MIFID compliant, and design, implement and optimise quantitative trading strategies. Skilled in data analysis, I currently analyse latency statistics to calculate the areas in which competitors performing better, and devise subsequent solutions to remain ahead of the competition. With notable research skills, I also steer in-depth investigations into various matters pertaining to trading.

Prior to my current role as a DevOps Engineer, I obtained a prestigious industrial placement at one of the UK’s largest Insurance companies and sat within the Pricing Department where I analysed claims statistics and made decisions concerning the underlying pricing structure which generated customer quotes.
