I have hands on experience of 8 years in Developing Device Drivers for VMware ESXi operating systems with proficiency in C programming.

I worked on Network Interface Cards of different bandwidth ranging 1G to 100G PCIe adapters.

I worked on kernel level programming, user-kernel programming.

Developed different offloads for NIC and SMART-NICs like RSS, LRO, VLAN.

Developed back-channel interface for SR-IOV feature.

Developed Command-line interface (CLI).

Developed debugging tools to help capture debug data of Firmware and Driver like buffer dump, packet traces to help in debugging any fatal issue.

Helped team in board bring-up and server configuration.

NVMe SSD Firmware Test Design and Development (Jul-2020 to Jun-2024) Tech Lead of a high revenue bounded project with stringent timelines. Developed test strategies to cover white-box test scenarios to validate NVMe SSD Firmware.

• Developed 50+ Python and Pytest test cases per Sprint to cover fully Developed Firmware Features validation as per customer requirements.

• Developed 20+ per sprint test cases on different NVMe test Appliances like OakGate and SaNBlaze.

• Configured local Lab servers to validate the implemented test cases on different platforms like Ubuntu 18 and RHEL 9.4 with Dell and HP servers.

• Adhering to Agile (SCRUM) principles managed the project by tracking sprints and user stories in JIRA.

• Reduced test gaps by 90% within one month with proactive communication with customer and firmware Developers.

• Planned sprint to execute following different Development lifecycle phases: - Requirements gathering, Test Design and Execution, Reporting and documentation, sprint retrospect.

• Gained expertise in different NVMe SSD controller features like AXI Watchdog Timer, CoreDump to NAND, Telemetry data lifetime logs validation, NVMe-MI out-of-band validation. Commands validation such as Abort, shutdown, flush.
