Jocelyn is a creative growth strategist and communications expert with a strong foundation in culture, heritage, and design. Through House of Narrative — an international creative growth studio — she help brands, spaces, and cultural organisations connect their story to the present, by building upon legacy and identity.

Jocelyn worked with over 20 organisations across Europe and beyond — from cultural institutions and artists to grassroots collectives and tech platforms — translating complex stories into meaningful, actionable strategies, from email marketing to content campaigns and creative concepts. Her focus lies in fundraising, brand storytelling, content an growth strategy, and community-focused campaigns. Whether it's securing funding, building a visual identity, or guiding long-term growth, she brings together clear thinking, intuitive direction and a deep sense for story and context.

    CULTURE

The Badhuistheater is an independent community theatre in Amsterdam, known for its unique location and diverse programming. It serves as a cultural hub, offering a mix of theatre productions, international collaborations, festivals, and community-driven events. The theatre plays a key role in supporting local and emerging artists while making culture accessible to a broad audience.

I developed and wrote two successful funding proposals for the Badhuistheater (government and municipality funds) both focused on strengthening the theatre's business model and community impact. This included:
    • Conducting a business analysis of the theatre’s operations, audience reach, and revenue streams.
    • Designing a sustainable business model aligned and growth strategy with the theatre’s artistic and community-driven mission.
    • Writing compelling funding applications for government cultural funds, clearly articulating the theatre’s societal value and growth potential.

Both funding applications were granted, providing the theatre with critical financial support for its future programming and development.
