PMO Director for Rakuten Symphony Europe, responsible for establishing and leading the Program Management Office to deliver Europe's first fully cloud-native Open RAN mobile network for 1&1 in Germany. The mandate was to build the delivery organization, implement governance, and provide executive visibility across a highly complex, multi-vendor program.Outcomes
- PMO Establishment & Governance – Built the European PMO from the ground up, defining governance frameworks, reporting cadence, risk and dependency management, and executive decision forums across 10+ interdependent workstreams spanning software, infrastructure, security, operations, and regulatory compliance.
- Delivery Organization & Leadership – Recruited, onboarded, and led a delivery organization of 40+ staff (10 direct, 30 indirect), including the creation of a graduate and internship program to build sustainable delivery capability and succession.
