About Alison

I am an accomplished IP Strategist and Consultant with a distinguished career of over 25 years spanning Intellectual Property (IP) private practice, innovation consultancy, and higher education.

This foundation has enabled me to collaborate with innovators, businesses and stakeholders across diverse technology sectors, supporting everything from IP identification, protection and management strategies via IP audits; IP financing initiatives with High Street Banks and stakeholders; Technology and Innovation Research and Brokerage; Due Diligence; to conducting education and research into areas at the cutting edge of IP, such as IP finance. I have also managed and delivered various multinational innovation support projects and technology missions, such the Enterprise Europe Network (the World's largest business support network) and EC-funded multi-partner innovation support projects.

A passionate educator, Alison has dedicated much of her career to working with SMEs, business advisers, and government organisations, helping them identify, protect, and monetise their intangible assets - assets often not shown on balance sheets or misunderstood and under-capitalised.
