Benjamin Petersen

Hello everyone! I'm Ben, a leadership-focused Project Manager with seven years of experience delivering web application, cloud migration, and data initiatives in highly regulated environments. I coordinate multi-disciplinary teams and structure delivery governance, intake processes, and reporting frameworks to execute complex programs using Agile and hybrid methodologies. I'm a former educator with a strong focus on building high-performing team environments and fostering collaboration.

My experience spans enterprise SaaS, digital modernization programs, and big data, in highly regulated environments. I have led multiple teams (35+ total members) concurrently within a larger program consisting of government client stakeholders, frontend, backend, and full stack engineers, cloud architects, quality assurance testers, and business analysts.

During my career I've had the opportunity to achieve some key accomplishments including;

• Delivered a production-ready modernized web application to a 20,000 user base, concluding the 7 year initiative which underwent 3 leadership changes and 2 redesign cycles

• Led planning, sequencing, and delivery of a cloud migration initiative, resulting in a transition from on-prem applications to Azure Web Services (AWS)

• Designed and implemented a transition to a Scaled Agile (SAFe) operating model following the growth of my project to include additional teams' responsibilities

• Delivered over 130 sprints with a high acceptance rate of sprint deliveries, providing consistent and predictable value
