Hipsy is a conscious events platform and ticketing system built on Laravel. I started by dockerizing the dev workflow. Then I designed and implemented an affinity-based recommendation engine that derives each user's affinity with organisations and event categories from their behaviour. These scores were subsequently used to generate personalised suggestions for events, categories and organisations. I also built various frontend features using Livewire, AlpineJS and Tailwind.

After EuropeTrack was acquired by Moving Intelligence and became part of the Echoes Group, they decided to replace all platforms with their Echoes platform. I helped with the migration effort of the EuropeTrack dataCodeIgniter and CORE/Api platform. I built several Symfony workers for real-time device activation/deactivation and trip synchronization between the Doctrine/database and Kafka streams. This included Kafka consumers/producers, message validation, data mapping, and unit tests. To improve production resilience and monitoring, I added structured logging, Sentry integration, and retry-safe message handling.

Developed a custom front-end extension for a Qualtrics-based research survey commissioned by the Dutch Tax Authority and conducted by Leiden University. Using JavaScript, CSS, and Google Sheets integration, I built a dynamic header showing a time bar and evolving euro balance that responds to participant choices. To overcome Qualtrics' limitations, I engineered smart workarounds that allowed researchers to flexibly configure and adjust simulation parameters without editing code.
