I worked with Fabio at Molecular Health, and later I was his deputy group leader at BioNTech.
He was the responsible person in the bioinformatic group for all the machine learning tasks and also the goto-person in our team for any advanced analytics questions; he raised awareness across the company of the potentialities of data science, and made crucial contributions to the design of future experiments of other groups. Due to his systematic, goal-oriented, and efficient work style, his work was impressive both in terms of quality and quantity. With his team-player mentality, his openness, friendliness, helpfulness, and cooperativeness, Fabio created a pleasant working environment and was well regarded by our team.

I know Fabio from our collaboration during the last three years at Machine2learn. His pleasant character, rigorous thinking, and writing skills make him a very valuable member of our team. We worked together on various projects in different vertical markets such as telecom, industry, and healthcare. He helped us improve our optimization algorithms in various projects in the industry, generate synthetic data for healthcare, and create predictive models for telecom. His background in mathematics, bioinformatics, and machine learning makes him a go-to person in various problems. Moreover, he is also a walking Wikipedia as he has a vast amount of knowledge on many topics. Oh, one last thing, if I have a problem with data mangling with Pandas, he will be the first person I will consult with.
