Harald is an experienced programme manager and business consultant that delivers results quickly and specific to the customers' business and sponsor’s specific needs.

He has a track record in implementing strategic business and regulatory change, working with a wide range of stakeholders (customers, front-office, finance, legal, risk, IT and Operations) across the different jurisdictions in the EMEA region.

Harald has worked 20+ years in change and management functions across multiple organisations in Financial Services, before starting his own consulting business.

His consulting experience includes:

- Programme lead of the legal integration of the EU entities of a global bank to create one universal bank within the EU

- Customer Lead for a Market & Opportunity Review for trading in the Voluntary Carbon Market

- Project Lead for CSRD awareness and market opportunity analysis for a large global mobility services company.

- Project Lead for the Implementation of Sustainable Finance and Climate Risk Assessment methodology of a large UK commercial bank, reaching 1,000+ sector bankers and credit risk officers.

Harald brings 20+ years of international experience in business and regulatory change in financial services in Corporate, Institutional, Commercial & Investment Banking. He has lead large regulatory and strategic change initiation and implementation projects and is experienced in working in international matrix, multi-service, and multi- capability projects and teams.

Harald is the founder and owner of Planet A change & interim management BV since 2019.

Harald is certified in Sustainability Business Management (2019) and Sustainable Finance (2020) by the University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainable Leadership and in Circular Economy by MIT Professional Education (2023). He has an up-to-date understanding of EU and international regulatory and policy context including CSRD, CSDDD, EU Taxonomy, ISSB, TCFD, GRI, and SASB.
