About Jessie
I am Jessie Liauw A Fong. Since the start of 2021 I live in Amsterdam North. I was born in Amsterdam, but raised in Zaandam. In 2019 I finished by bachelors Software Engineering at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences. However, I missed the academic side of software engineering and decided to start my master in September 2022 (part-time).
My most notable work has been at Voclarion. A telephone exchange company with customers like the municipal of Amsterdam and the Dutch navy. I started as a medior software engineer, but after a year and a half, they promoted me to tech lead. I managed and guided the technical department of Voclarion. Creating a roadmap, structuring the way of working and managing partners. In Voclairon I also managed the technical side of the ISO 27001 certification.
My involvement in the ISO 27001 certification also led to my job as a freelancer at B-Securité. Where I managed and created the documentation for the technical teams, mainly focussed on the ISO 27001 certification.
In addition, I also consulted for a project for a pharmaceutical company. I reviewed the code of the developers and helped manage the technical direction of the project.
