I have an extensive background in management consulting (Andersen, Deloitte and Accenture) and FMCG project management (Coca-Cola, Heineken) and associated certifications (Agile, PMP, Prince2). I know how to get results because I have a deep understanding of the business architecture of large organisation, and I’m comfortable working with both the C-suite and the operational level.
I’m a project manager by trade but my passion is sustainability. I achieve my sustainability goals at a personal, professional and political level. Professionally I’ve developed a “solar roadmap” to deploy solar panels at Bayer sites globally, which was awarded “NET impact project of the year”. Supported Bayer procurement in the initial stages to identify potential sites. At the political level I’m a city councilor (raadslid Amstelveen) responsible for sustainability and green, which resulted in a national TV appearance (from 24:32m) to talk about energy labels. In addition I was invited to be the key-note speaker to talk about Disruptive Thinking about Sustainability at the Krasnapolsky hotel in Amsterdam.
Currently I'm supporting Kraft Heinz to achieve their environmental sustainability goals through the implementation of DCF processes and systems, sourcing a Traceability platform and working on a CSRD compliance setup.
