Ik werk al sinds 2000 als front-end web developer en heb de opkomst en ondergang van Internet Explorer meegemaakt. De bedrijven waar ik voor gewerkt heb variëren van startups, internationals (KLM, DHL) en alles daartussen, en voel me overal op m'n gemak.

M'n "weapon of choice" is React dat ik nu al meer dan 7 jaar gebruik, recentelijk gecombineerd met TypeScript.

Build a web application to manage resources like clusters, workloads and users across cloud platforms (AWS, Google, Azure, on-premise). Give insights in cost and utilization and show recommendations to optimize services and save money. Worked with a small group of Dutch react developers for this American startup. Stack: Typescript, React, Carbon Design System, Victory Graphs, Styled Components, Storybook, Internationalization, react-query, Jest (unit tests), Cypress (end-to-end tests + component testing), Sentry (application monitoring), RESTAPI with microservices backend (Golang).
T-Mobile
Senior Front-end Developer

Worked together with the Design/UX team and different tech teams to migrate Tele2.nl into the T-mobile tech stack. Focus on creating a shared Design System with modular and composable components using brand specific styling with minimal implementation differences. Stack: Typescript, jQuery, Razor templates (.net), D3 visualization library, Storybook, Cypress (end-to-end tests).

FashionTrade.com is a b2b ecommerce startup for global fashion brands and retailers. As the first developer, started building a prototype with React to form the vision for the product. This turned into the actual platform connecting to microservice backends on Google Cloud. Also responsible for onboarding new front-end developers. Stack: Typescript, React, Redux (state management) with Normalizr, Styled Components, Storybook, Internationalization, Jest (unit tests), Cypress (end-to-end tests), Sketch, Zeplin, RESTAPI with microservices backend (Java).
