I am a highly experienced, all-round business developer with more than 10 years’ experience in the biogas sector. Being born on a dairy farm, I have all relevant knowledge of the agricultural sector, especially in the Netherlands. Already during my bachelor study, I learned to make business cases for biogas plants in Germany (Nawaro) and in the Netherlands for a cheese factory Leerdammer, part of the French Bel Group. After my study, I have worked in a small and growing organization, Biogas Plus, that is specialized in the design, construction and maintenance of biogas plants and in the early days owned 5 biogas plants itself. This company was acquired by ENGIE in 2018, letting me learn about the Oil & Gas industry and corporate work methods. Since that period, I have come in contact with bigger projects with CAPEX levels of more than € 50 million. My corporate experience, my technical & commercial understanding of the biogas market and my knowledge about the agricultural sector makes me a key asset in the realization of the EU- and worldwide targets to switch to renewable energy.
