Across my career, I’ve delivered results in projects that initially seemed impossible. From the industrial reuse of offshore platforms — reducing emissions and extending asset life — to reallocating Shell’s large industrial upstream portfolio in the Netherlands, laying the groundwork for today’s activities in energy storage, CCS and hydrogen. And from there to originating a new French‑German green‑hydrogen axis through the Total–RWE joint venture, which evolved into an executable and significant hydrogen portfolio for both companies and the start of a flourishing cross‑border partnership.

Each of these efforts required strategic navigation, political‑commercial negotiation and the ability to turn unlikely ideas into real, bankable outcomes — and ultimately into healthy business that advances the broader energy transition.
