Description

Rens ter Weijde is an entrepreneur, advisor, and board member living in Amsterdam. He studied psychology (UvA), business (HBS), finance (CFA), and technology (MIT). He started his career during the last two years of his study working with athletes as a sport psychologist behind the scenes (2006-2011), and later began his professional career at McKinsey & Co (2011) focused on organizational change and leadership.

Following his time at McKinsey, Rens started his own advisory firm (2013) and served as a trusted advisor to clients across many industries - always primarily focused on top team work around strategy, digital (AI) strategy, and executive alignment. Following his advisory years Rens led an AI-company (2019-2023) focused on education in emerging markets, and participated in G20 discussions around AI for a year. Presently, Rens is active as fractional CAIO for a number of clients, combining his AI and strategy experience.
