Thijs Holtermans

As a Mechanical Design Engineer at AgXeed, I have been working for the past three years on the development of advanced agricultural machinery. During the last two years, I have been part of a small multidisciplinary engineering team responsible for the complete design and development of a new autonomous agricultural robot.

My primary responsibility has been to take mechanical concepts from a blank sheet to a fully production-ready product. This includes mechanical design, engineering validation, design optimization, and supporting the transition from prototype to serial production. Throughout the development process, I have worked closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that designs meet performance, manufacturability, and reliability requirements.

My technical expertise includes mechanical design, product development, FEM analysis, structural optimization, and Design for Manufacturing (DFM). I enjoy solving complex engineering challenges and developing innovative, robust mechanical solutions that are ready for real-world production.
